Synthesis of multilamellar walls vesicles polyelectrolyte-surfactant complexes from pH-stimulated phase transition using microbial biosurfactants [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Colloid and Interface Science, Elsevier, 2020, 580, pp.493-502, 2020
Multilamellar wall vesicles (MLWV) are an interesting class of polyelectrolyte-surfactant complexes (PESCs) for wide applications ranging from house-care to biomedical products. If MLWV are generally obtained by a polyelectrolyte-driven vesicle agglutination under pseudo-equilibrium conditions, the resulting phase is often a mixture of more than one ...

Deep learning for in vitro prediction of pharmaceutical formulations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Current pharmaceutical formulation development still strongly relies on the traditional trial-and-error approach by individual experiences of pharmaceutical scientists, which is laborious, time-consuming and costly. Recently, deep learning has been widely applied in many challenging domains because of its important capability of automatic feature ...

Spectrophotometric determination of cefaclor in pharmaceutical preparations

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 1999
A simple spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of cefaclor. The method involves alkaline hydrolysis of the drug in ammonia buffer solution at pH 10 to yield diketopiperazine-2,5-dione derivative and subsequent measurement at 340 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range 1.8 - 55 mg/mL.
