Investigation of Gasochromic Rhodium Complexes Regarding Their Reactivity towards CO

open access: yesProceedings, 2017
The detection of the toxic gas carbon monoxide (CO) in the low ppm range is required in different applications. We present a study of the reactivity of different gasochromic rhodium complexes towards the toxic gas carbon monoxide (CO).

Comparative Studies on Combustion Characteristics of Blended Crude Jatropha Oil with Magnetic Liquid Catalyst and DEX under Normal Gravity Condition

open access: yesJournal of Mechanical Engineering Science and Technology, 2021
A comparative study on the combustion characteristics of a single droplet fueled by DEX, crude jatropha oil (CJO), and a mixture of CJO with a magnetic liquid catalyst of rhodium trisulfate has been carried out under normal gravity conditions.

Catalytic coatings on steel for low-temperature propane prereforming to solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Catalyst layers (4–20 lm) of rhodium (1 wt%) supported on alumina, titania, and ceria–zirconia (Ce0.5Zr0.5O2) were coated on stainless-steel corrugated sheets by dip-coating in very stable colloidal dispersions of nanoparticles in water.

Sarilumab in Polyarticular‐Course Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Dose‐Finding and One‐Year Analysis of a Phase 2b, Open‐Label, Multicenter Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective This study assessed sarilumab in treating patients with polyarticular‐course juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pcJIA). Methods This phase 2b, open‐label study (NCT02776735) consisted of three sequential parts (each with a core‐treatment and extension‐phase). During part 1, three doses were assessed in two weight groups (Group A/B: ≥30–60 kg/≥10–<

Crystal structures of fac-trichloridotris(trimethylphosphane-κP)rhodium(III) monohydrate and fac-trichloridotris(trimethylphosphane-κP)rhodium(III) methanol hemisolvate: rhodium structures that are isotypic with their iridium analogs

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2015
The crystal structures of two solvates of fac-trichloridotris(trimethylphosphane-κP)rhodium(III) are reported, i.e. one with water in the crystal lattice, fac-[RhCl3(Me3P)3]·H2O, and one with methanol in the crystal lattice, fac-[RhCl3(Me3P)3]·0.5CH3OH ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Atomic-level insights in optimizing reaction paths for hydroformylation reaction over Rh/CoO single-atom catalyst

open access: yesNature Communications, 2016
Despite the advantages of using heterogeneous catalysts, most successful rhodium hydrogenations are carried out with homogeneous catalysts. Here the authors report a supported single atom rhodium catalyst providing high activities and selectivities for ...

Ultrathin rhodium nanosheets [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2014
Despite significant advances in the fabrication and applications of graphene-like materials, it remains a challenge to prepare single-layered metallic materials, which have great potential applications in physics, chemistry and material science. Here we report the fabrication of poly(vinylpyrrolidone)-supported single-layered rhodium nanosheets using a

Trace Nickel Activated Biphasic Core‐CuOii/Shell‐CuOi Secondary Microspheres Enable Room Temperature Parts‐Per‐Trillion‐Level NO2 Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.
