In this paper, we introduce the concept of k̲−partial groups and discuss some of their basic properties. We introduce the category kpg of k̲−partial groups, which is more convenient than the category Sstg of strong semilattices of topological groups [1 ...

Z2-topology in nonsymmorphic crystalline insulators: Mobius twist in surface states [PDF]
It has been known that an anti-unitary symmetry such as time-reversal or charge conjugation is needed to realize Z2 topological phases in non-interacting systems. Topological insulators and superconducting nanowires are representative examples of such Z2

The concept of topological group is a simple combination of the concepts of abstract group and topological space. The purpose of this paper is to combine the concepts of topological space and rough groups; called topological rough groups on an ...

A classification of 3+1D bosonic topological orders (I): the case when point-like excitations are all bosons [PDF]
Topological orders are new phases of matter beyond Landau symmetry breaking. They correspond to patterns of long-range entanglement. In recent years, it was shown that in 1+1D bosonic systems there is no nontrivial topological order, while in 2+1D ...

Topological stability and pseudo-orbit tracing property of group actions [PDF]
In this note we extend the concept of topological stability from homeomorphisms to group actions on compact metric spaces, and prove that if an action of a finitely generated group is expansive and has the pseudo-orbit tracing property then it is ...

Complete Invariant ⋆-Metrics on Semigroups and Groups
In this paper, we study the complete ⋆-metric semigroups and groups and the Raǐkov completion of invariant ⋆-metric groups. We obtain the following. (1) Let (X,d⋆) be a complete ⋆-metric space containing a semigroup (group) G that is a dense subset of X.

Many-body topological invariants in fermionic symmetry-protected topological phases : Cases of point group symmetries [PDF]
We propose the definitions of many-body topological invariants to detect symmetry-protected topological phases protected by point group symmetry, using partial point group transformations on a given short-range entangled quantum ground state.

Covering Groups of Nonconnected Topological Groups and 2-Groups [PDF]
We investigate the universal cover of a topological group that is not necessarily connected. Its existence as a topological group is governed by a Taylor cocycle, an obstruction in 3-cohomology.

When is the Isbell topology a group topology?
Conditions on a topological space $X$ under which the space $C(X,\mathbb{R})$ of continuous real-valued maps with the Isbell topology $ $ is a topological group (topological vector space) are investigated. It is proved that the addition is jointly continuous at the zero function in $C_ (X,\mathbb{R})$ if and only if $X$ is infraconsonant.

Pθ-Topological Groups in Nonstandard Analysis [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of topological groups called Pθ-topological group. By using some nonstandard techniques, we investigated some properties of Pθ-monads in Pθ-topological group.
