Exploring the dynamics of three-dimensional lattice gauge theories by external fields [PDF]

open access: greenNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl. 34 (1994) 234-236, 1994
We investigate the dynamics of three-dimensional lattice gauge theories by means of an external Abelian magnetic field. For the SU(2) lattice gauge theory we find evidence of the unstable modes.

Exact Lattice Supersymmetry from Topological Field Theory [PDF]

open access: greenarXiv, 2003
We discuss the connection between supersymmetric field theories and topological field theories and show how this connection may be used to construct local lattice field theories which maintain an exact supersymmetry. It is shown how metric independence of the continuum topological field theory allows us to derive the lattice theory by blocking out of ...

Abelian monopole condensation in lattice gauge theories [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl. 83 (2000) 428-430, 1999
We investigate the dynamics of lattice gauge theories in an Abelian monopole background field. By means of the gauge-invariant lattice Schrodinger functional we study the Abelian monopole condensation in U(1) lattice gauge theory at zero temperature and in SU(3) lattice gauge theory at finite temperature.

Monte Carlo Hamiltonian of lattice gauge theory [PDF]

open access: yesMod.Phys.Lett.A22:565-572,2007, 2005
We discuss how the concept of the Monte Carlo Hamiltonian can be applied to lattice gauge theories.

Lattice Improvement in Lattice Effective Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Lattice calculations using the framework of effective field theory have been applied to a wide range few-body and many-body systems. One of the challenges of these calculations is to remove systematic errors arising from the nonzero lattice spacing. Fortunately, the lattice improvement program pioneered by Symanzik provides a formalism for doing this ...

Higher homotopy and lattice gauge fields [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We present a general formalism for higher dimensional versions of lattice gauge fields based on higher strict homotopy groupoids. First, using the language of nonabelian Algebraic Topology, we define local lattice higher gauge fields. Then, we provide local-to-global principles for lattice higher gauge fields based on the HHSvK theorem.

A Perturbative Construction of Lattice Chiral Fermions [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett. B378 (1996) 222-226, 1995
We perform a renormalization group transformation to construct a lattice theory of chiral fermions. The field variables of the continuum theory are averaged over hypercubes to define lattice fields. Integrating out the continuum variables in perturbation theory we derive a chirally invariant effective action for the lattice fields.

Lattice regularization of massive and massless integrable field theories [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys. B419 (1994) 507-528, 1993
We show that integrable vertex and RSOS models with trigonometric Boltzmann weights and appropriate inhomogeneities provide a convenient lattice regularization for massive field theories and for the recently studied massless field theories that interpolate between two non trivial conformal field theories.

Non-equilibrium field theory [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl. 94 (2001) 61-70, 2000
I discuss various topics in relativistic non-equilibrium field theory related to high energy physics and cosmology. I focus on non-perturbative problems and how they can be treated on the lattice.
