Private Governance, Hegemonic Struggles, and Institutional Outcomes in the Transnational Cotton Commodity Chain [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of World-Systems Research, 2015
Transnational firms have rolled out new forms of private governance at the same time as the rise of new economic powerhouses like China has fomented growing inter-state tensions.

Light Quark Spin-Flavor Symmetry for Baryons Containing a Heavy Quark in Large N QCD [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett.B315:431-437,1993, 1993
The couplings and interactions of baryons containing a heavy quark are related by light quark spin-flavor symmetry in the large $N$ limit. The single pion coupling constant which determines all heavy quark baryon-pion couplings is equal to the pion coupling constant for light quark baryons.

Quark Number Susceptibility with Finite Quark Mass in Holographic QCD [PDF]

open access: yesProg. Theor. Phys. 126 (2011), 735-751, 2010
We study the effect of a finite quark mass on the quark number susceptibility in the framework of holographic QCD. We work in a bottom-up model with a deformed AdS black hole and D3/D7 model to calculate the quark number susceptibility at finite temperature with/without a finite quark chemical potential. As expected the finite quark mass suppresses the

Quark mass density- and temperature- dependent model for bulk strange quark matter [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. C65 (2002) 035202, 2002
It is shown that the quark mass density-dependent model can not be used to explain the process of the quark deconfinement phase transition because the quark confinement is permanent in this model. A quark mass density- and temperature-dependent model in which the quark confinement is impermanent has been suggested.

Quark running mass and vacuum energy density in truncated Coulomb gauge QCD for five orders of magnitude of current masses [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We study in detail the effect of the finite current quark mass on chiral symmetry breaking, in the framework of truncated Coulomb gauge QCD with a linear confining quark-antiquark potential. In the chiral limit of massless current quarks, the breaking of chiral symmetry is spontaneous.

Quark-meson coupling model with short-range quark-quark interactions [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical Physics, 2000
Short-range quark-quark correlations are introduced into the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model phenomenologically. We study the effect of the correlations on the structure of the nucleon in dense nuclear matter.

Quark-quark interaction and quark matter in neutron stars [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review C, 2022
Hyperon ($Y$) mixing in neutron-star matter brings about a remarkable softening of the equation of state (EoS) and the maximum mass is reduced to a value far less than $2M_{\odot}$. One idea to avoid this "hyperon puzzle in neutron stars" is to assume that the many-body repulsions work universally for every kind of baryons.

Nutritive characteristics of probiotic quark as influenced by type of starter [PDF]

open access: yesActa Periodica Technologica, 2007
Quark was manufactured, under laboratory conditions, by standard batch process, from two types of milk: I) partially skimmed, with 1.6 % of fat and II) whole milk, with 3.5 % of fat.

Effects of Gravitational Field of a Topological Defect on Statistical Properties of Heavy Quark-Antiquark Systems

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2022
In this paper, we determine eigen energies, eigenfunctions and statistical properties of non-relativistic heavy quarkonia interacting with the extended Cornel potential within a space-time generated by a cosmic-string.
