Multi‐Country‐Multi‐City Characterisation of Heat Stress and Exposure in Africa
International Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 8, 30 June 2026.This study provides the first continent‐wide, grid‐specific assessment of heat stress trends in Africa, revealing a sharp rise in multi‐scale extreme heat episodes and shifting population exposure. Findings highlight urgent implications for urban planning and climate adaptation.
