Distribution of Functional Traits Along Climatic Gradients in the Subtropical Atlantic Forest
Austral Ecology, Volume 50, Issue 11, November 2025.We assessed the correlation between climatic factors and altitude with the spatial distribution of tree functional traits in the Subtropical Atlantic Forest. Deciduousness, symbiotic fixation of nitrogen (SNF), toothed leaf, spinescence and leaf area were more significantly associated with climatic drivers.
