The functional role of ants in no‐till cropping systems

Ants provide valuable ecosystem services in tropical agriculture, but their roles in temperate row crops remain poorly understood. Conservation practices such as no‐till farming and cover cropping support ant communities that contribute to pest suppression, weed seed removal, and soil quality, which can increase crop productivity.
