Developing a Z‐ESG Score Model for Assessing Corporate ESG Performance

ABSTRACT In this study we develop a novel, unique ESG rating model that exploits the logic of the Z‐score by Altman (1968) to discriminate between ESG performing and non‐ESG performing firms using indicators of ESG performance for each of the three pillars (Environmental, Social, Governance) in place of financial ratios.

Adaptation of the invasive pest Drosophila suzukii to a specialized nutritional niche

Unlike most Drosophila larvae that feed on spoiled food, Drosophila suzukii larvae thrive on ripening fruits and consequently face a low‐protein, high‐carbohydrate nutritional challenge. Comparisons of growth among D. suzukii, D. biarmipes, and D. melanogaster larvae across diets with varying protein‐to‐carbohydrate ratios demonstrate that D.

Reusing Geospatial Data of Invasive Alien Insect Species From the Literature: Significance, Challenges, and Potential

We use bibliometric analysis to evaluate geospatial data reuse for invasive alien insect species (IAIS). Of 1032 relevant publications, 51.0% lacked downloadable raw data. Integrating cross‐regional, temporal, and multi‐species data could address single‐study limitations, but data scarcity remains a barrier.

Nutritional composition of pollen stores in managed bees across European agro‐ecosystems reveals species‐specific differences but limited pesticide effects
