Actia interrupta is an important larval tachinid parasitoid during low‐density populations of the eastern spruce budworm. In the late 1980s during the outbreak collapse, Meteorus trachynotus was initially the most important species, but was replaced by A. interrupta. Host patch size and density had no impact on the parasitism rates by A.

Echantillonnage des prairies pâturées pour quantifier l'azote potentiellement lessivable : quel schéma pour quelle précision ? [PDF]
Sampling scheme to quantify nitrogen leaching risk in grazed grassland: which scheme for which accuracy? In grazed grasslands, the heterogeneity of urine patches distribution needs adapted sampling scheme in order to evaluate N-NO3 - leaching risks.

Abstract Understanding how different types of nature interactions influence emotional responses to animal species is especially important in the context of the biodiversity crisis, as these emotions can shape conservation‐related attitudes and behaviours. Gardening is recognised as one such interaction, although its influence likely depends on the type

Use of a Cytobrush for Sampling the Ear Canal of Dogs With Otitis Externa
Cytological examination of the ear canal is essential for evaluating dogs with otitis externa (OE). The conventional sampling method uses a swab. However, the cytobrush (gynaecological cervical brush), already used for cytological collection from other anatomical sites, has not been adequately investigated for this purpose in dogs with OE.

Peri‐urban tree canopy assessments: Leveraging partnerships and technology for climate resilience
Abstract The urban tree canopy plays a crucial role in climate change mitigation and adaptation, yet peri‐urban environments—transition zones between urban and rural areas—remain unexplored in urban tree canopy assessments. With rapid urbanization expected to increase the global population to two‐thirds by 2050, managing peri‐urban green infrastructure
