Scalable catalyst production process for oleate hydratase whole‐cell biocatalysis
Biotechnology Progress, EarlyView.This study establishes a scalable lactose‐induced fed‐batch fermentation for an Escherichia coli whole‐cell biocatalyst containing an oleate hydratase. Operation at a higher growth rate markedly increased biomass yields while maintaining catalyst activity and was demonstrated at 150 L scale.

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.De novo synthesized difluorinated tryptophan analogues are site‐specifically incorporated into Cyclophilin A (CypA). 19F–19F NOESY build‐up experiments are recorded for each labeled protein, and the distances derived from cross‐relaxation rates are compared to reference distances.

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.This study investigates how molecular topology influences the photophysical properties of star‐shaped, threefold‐symmetric triphenylamine (TPA) derivatives functionalized with three BODIPY or SubPc units. Their absorption spectra exhibit minimal solvatochromism, whereas their fluorescence intensity is strongly dependent on solvent polarity.
