Electrochemical Doping for Absorption and Conductivity Tuning of P(NDI2OD‐T2) Films
Electrochemical doping of P(NDI2OD‐T2) films allows for tuning the degree of doping both in liquid electrolytes as well as in the solid state. The nature of the doped species is elucidated by UV–vis spectroscopy and accompanying DFT calculations. Correlations between maximum conductivities and the presence of mixed valence states, (specifically neutral/

This work focuses on the crystallization dynamics in lead iodide perovskite films: In situ UV absorption spectroscopy reveals a PbI2‐DMF solvated (PDS) phase before nucleation, influencing perovskite formation. PDS clusters act as nucleation seeds, linking precursor solution concentration to crystallization.

Conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CP‐NPs), namely P3HT‐, PCBM‐, and P3HT:PCBM‐NPs are explored, from preparation to biophotonic applications. The obtained CP‐NPs exhibit visible absorption, red/near infra‐red (NIR) emission, and light‐induced photocurrent generation in physiological media, stable optoelectronic behavior and size uniformity. Simulations

Weakly solvating electrolytes (WSEs) use anion‐dominated solvation to form stable interphase layers, overcoming energy density and lifespan limitations. This review clarifies their design, anion‐mediated interface regulation, and compatibility with lithium/post‐lithium systems, distinguishing them from conventional electrolytes, high concentration ...

For safe human–robot collaboration (HRC), a protective and collision‐sensitive robot skin is proposed. The developed robot skin, named Gel‐Skin, is composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gel, which is a functional material with impact absorption capability and tunable piezoresistive characteristics based on electrical charge‐accumulation.

Giant Birefringence Enabled by the Highly Anisotropic Linear IX2− (X = Cl, Br) Building Blocks
Four novel, easily grown birefringent crystals featuring linear interhalogen birefringence‐active groups, IX₂⁻ (X = Cl, Br), namely [H‐4AP][ICl₂], [HDMA]₂[ICl₂]·Cl, [H‐4AP][IBr₂], and [HDMA]₂[IBr₂]·Br, exhibit giant birefringence values in both the visible and near‐infrared regions, while achieving an optimal balance between giant birefringence and ...
