A New Low‐Rate Stable Hydrogel Cathode for Aqueous Zn‐ion Batteries

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
A mixed ion‐ and electron‐conducting hydrogel enables low‐rate stability of aqueous Zn‐ion batteries. Aqueous Zn‐ion batteries (ZIBs) are attractive candidates for large‐scale energy storage owing to the abundance, low cost, and intrinsic safety of Zn metal.

Applying Machine Learning Methods to Laser Acceleration of Protons: Synthetic Data for Exploring the High Repetition Rate Regime

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advances in ultra‐intense laser technology have increased repetition rates and average power for chirped‐pulse laser systems, which offer a promising solution for many applications including energetic proton sources. An important challenge is the need to optimize and control the proton source by varying some of the many degrees of freedom ...

From Lab to Market: Strategies for Stabilizing and Scaling Perovskite Solar Cells via Printing Technologies

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Over the past 13 years, the power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have experienced important enhancements. PSCs exhibit superior optoelectronic properties and can be fabricated using inexpensive materials. To compete with first‐generation photovoltaic technologies, it is essential to scale up production.
