A hierarchically engineered parallel‐channel‐structured N‐doped carbon‐fiber network, embedded with atomically dispersed CoNC catalytic sites, is proposed as a redox‐active interlayer, wherein, its multifunctional architecture synergistically integrates gradient adsorption and catalytic conversion functionalities to suppress the polysulfide ...

Analysis of density matrix embedding theory around the non‐interacting limit
Abstract This article provides the first mathematical analysis of the Density Matrix Embedding Theory (DMET) method. We prove that, under certain assumptions, (i) the exact ground‐state density matrix is a fixed‐point of the DMET map for non‐interacting systems, (ii) there exists a unique physical solution in the weakly‐interacting regime, and (iii ...

Morphoevolutive drivers on a rapidly‐evolving soft rocky cliff and connected shore platform system
A multi‐source approach combining UAV surveys, optical satellite images and meteo‐marine data identifies key morphoevolutive drivers on a soft rocky cliff system. Results highlight the role of lithology and structure as primary controls, with marine and rainfall forcing acting as preparatory agents in a rapidly evolving coastal landscape.

A freestanding ZnO nanorod array on carbon cloth (ZnO/CC) is synthesized via hydrothermal growth and studied during its electrochemical reduction to Zn. Advanced characterization techniques (SEM, HRTEM, and STXM) reveal the morphochemical evolution of ZnO nanorods, providing unprecedented insights into the ZnO‐to‐Zn conversion mechanism.

Phenazinone chromophore incorporating a carbonyl group into the skeleton is recently found to be a new‐type halogen‐atom‐free‐photosensitizer possessing superior ability in singlet oxygen (1O2) generation. In this work, we have designed and developed the derivative with two 5‐formyl‐2‐thienyl substituents which is expected to lead to improvement of the

Five derivatised aurones were synthesised via a green approach for potential application as photoprotectants for agrochemicals. Their long‐term and ultrafast photodynamics, in solution and on a wax surface, were investigated through steady state and femtosecond transient electronic absorption spectroscopy techniques, revealing significant differences ...

Guidelines for Studying the Oxidative Stress Damage Model on Drosophila melanogaster
This guideline introduced Drosophila as a research model to summarize in detail the research methods of indicators that can characterize oxidative stress. It generally includes four aspects such as generation of ROS, damage caused by ROS, antioxidant defense, and cell stress repair and apoptosis.

The successful in situ polymerization of microtubules in giant polymer‐lipid hybrid vesicles is illustrated. The microtubules formed in the giant hybrid vesicles exhibit different morphologies including lumenal network formation and membrane association. Abstract Creating artificial cells with a dynamic cytoskeleton, akin to those in living cells, is a

Wood jam mobility in a morphologically active river in northern Chilean Patagonia
This study examined post‐eruption wood jam mobility and channel changes in the Blanco River. Floodplain collapses led to large sediment yields. High wood jam mobility rates were reported. Larger, less compact wood jams persist in stable areas; new and missing jams are smaller and linked to deposition and erosion, respectively.
