Synthetic Chromatophores for Color and Pattern Morphing Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Cephalopods use chromatophore organs (muscle‐actuated pigment sacs) to alter their skin color and pattern. Synthetic chromatophores, which closely mimic the mechano‐optical process found in cephalopods using stimuli‐responsive microscale hydrogel actuators, are reported.

Ionically Conductive Elastic Polymer Binder for Ultrahigh Loading Electrode in High‐Energy‐Density Lithium Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An ionically conductive elastic polymer (ICEP) binder is introduced for fabricating ultrahigh mass‐loading NCM811 cathodes, offering enhanced elasticity, adhesion, and ionic conductivity for improved structural and interfacial stability. The ICEP‐based ultrahigh loading cathode delivers 377.6 Wh kgcell−1/1016.8 Wh Lcell−1 (including packaging) when ...

Long‐Range Spin Transport in Chiral Gold

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
It is demonstrated that in chiral gold film, spin information can be transferred to distances of several microns at room temperature. The conduction of spins is accompanied by the Hall effect that exists without applying an external magnetic field. The spin diffusion length is consistent with the frequency‐dependent Hall effect which indicates spin ...

Modulating Polaron Behavior in PM6 Blends with Nonfullerene and Fullerene Acceptors: The Importance of Singlet Energy Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Transient absorption spectroscopy is employed to demonstrate that nonfullerene acceptors inhibit the formation of bound polaron pairs in conjugated polymers, which would otherwise undergo rapid relaxation back to the ground state. Instead, efficient energy transfer from the polymer to the non‐fullerene acceptor takes place, facilitating high charge ...

New Perspectives on Semiconducting Conjugated Oligomers for Neuromodulation in Hydra vulgaris

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Semiconducting organic compounds, thiophene‐based, modify the rhythmic electrical activity of the cnidarian Hydra vulgaris acting on specific neuronal circuits. The ETE‐S trimer also forms electronically conducting wires in the living tissues of the animal.

Probing the Impact of Ionic Liquid Additives at the Buried NiOx/Perovskite Interfaces to Understand Solar Cell Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study presents a low‐cost technique to analyze hidden layers in perovskite solar cells during operation. By modifying nickel oxide with an ionic liquid, the researchers improved its interaction with the perovskite layer, enhancing charge transfer. The method helps quickly optimize interface treatments and can be applied to other electronic devices

ÐšÐ»Ð¸Ñ€ÐµÐ½Ñ Ð½Ð° I-131 и Ts-99 во тиреоидеа кај Ñтаорец

open access: yes, 2017
Thyroid clearance of J-131 and Tc-99m after simultaneous subcutaneous injection in rats were estimated in the early phase. Arterial blood samples were drawn with a polyethene catheter inserted in the iliac artery in intervals of two minutes.
