Gate Field‐Induced Dynamic Schottky Barrier Height Reduction in Bilayer MoS2 for Sub‐60 mV/dec Schottky Barrier FETs

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 21, December 17, 2025.
Vertical electric‑field‑induced bandgap narrowing in bilayer MoS2 dynamically reduces the Schottky barrier height, achieving sub‑60 mV/dec switching. Incorporating band‑edge shifts estimated from DFT results into transport simulations, the bilayer MoS2 SB‑FET achieves a 44.7 mV/dec subthreshold swing and 38 % faster CMOS inverter switching with 5 ...

A Soft Pneumatic Exosuit to Assist Pronosupination in Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 12, December 2025.
A lightweight (30 g) textile‐based pneumatic exosuit assists forearm pronosupination in individuals with cervical spinal cord injury. The soft robot enhances forearm range of motion and reduces muscle effort without hindering hand function. Tested in 10 patients during an interactive exergame, it improves motor performance and demonstrates promise for ...

Nomenclatural commentaries and typification of two Wallichian names in the genus Celastrus (Celastraceae: Celastroideae)

open access: yesNordic Journal of Botany, Volume 2025, Issue 12, December 2025.
Following the discovery of a previously unrecognised holotype of Celastrus wallichii G. Don in Paris (P), this name is reinstated as legitimate and is now the correct name of the species previously named C. monospermoides Loes. Additionally, C. stylosus Wall.

Genomic prediction models for morpho‐phenological traits in durum wheat based on Vrn, Ppd, and Rht alleles

open access: yesThe Plant Genome, Volume 18, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Genetic variations in vernalization (Vrn), photoperiod (Ppd), and reduced plant height (Rht) genes significantly influence durum wheat adaptability. However, the systematic integration of these functional alleles into genomic prediction (GP) models has been limited.

Spatial Heterogeneity in Methane Biogeochemistry and Prokaryotic Community Structure in Sub‐Arctic Waterbodies in Northern Canada

open access: yesEnvironmental Microbiology, Volume 27, Issue 12, December 2025.
Prokaryotic communities and methane dynamics differed markedly across 16 sub‐Arctic waterbodies. Maximum depth and permafrost thaw emerged as key drivers, with non‐stratified thaw‐affected sites hosting distinct communities and elevated methane fluxes, highlighting their potential role as emerging hotspots of methane emissions.

Practice‐Level Clustering of Industry Payments to Clinicians

open access: yesHealth Services Research, Volume 60, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective To test whether industry payments to clinicians are clustered at the level of the medical practice. Study Setting and Design We performed a cross‐sectional study of clinicians who billed Medicare Part B in 2021 to test whether the receipt of an industry payment, log total value of industry payments, or log total number of industry ...

Antidiabetic Evaluation of New Pyrimidine‐Thiazoline Hybrids Endorsed With Enzyme Kinetic Studies and Computational Analysis

open access: yesChemical Biology &Drug Design, Volume 106, Issue 6, December 2025.
We demonstrated the application of molecular hybridization in disclosing new pyrimidine‐thiazole molecular hybrids as potential α‐glucosidase and α‐amylase inhibitors and antioxidant agents. The representative compound of the series exhibited 3‐fold more potency than the standard drug acarbose against α‐glucosidase and 2‐fold greater potency than ...
