Photo‐Gain Effect in κ‐Ga2O3 UV‐C Photoresistors Induced by Trapping of Photogenerated Holes
The “photo‐gain effect” amplifying the DC photocurrent of κ‐Ga2O3 UV‐C photoresistors is analyzed by means of 2D numerical simulations and linked to the capture of photogenerated holes by deep donor levels, probably associated with oxygen vacancies.

ABSTRACT Farmers frequently suffer from musculoskeletal disorders, particularly lower back pain (LBP), mainly due to occupational ergonomic factors such as repetitive stooping and lifting. This study proposes using an exoskeleton to reduce LBP risk by providing external torque to the hip joints.

Abstract Research Summary Overconfidence is widely known to influence firm decision‐making. Yet there remains confusion regarding the concept because it comprises three key aspects: overplacement, overestimation, and overprecision. Using archival data, we employ a firm‐level overconfidence construct to simultaneously analyze the impacts of both ...

Temperature‐controlled in situ desolvation within the vacuum chamber of a dedicated electron diffractometer is shown to enable precise characterization of structural changes in flexible MOFs. Characterization of transient intermediate states of MIL‐53(Cr) and MIL‐53(Ga) at different levels of openness by 3D electron diffraction shows they undergo metal‐

A novel spatial segregation strategy for silicon photoelectrodes is demonstrated, where catalyst wires surrounded by tapered microwires effectively decouple competing optical and catalytic requirements. This architectural innovation enables optimal light absorption and catalytic activity while maintaining efficient charge transport, achieving 96.5 ...

Vancomycin‐Modified DNA Origami Nanostructures for Targeting Bacterial Pathogens
Applications of DNA origami nanostructures in pathogen detection and antimicrobial drug delivery require their efficient and robust binding to bacterial cells. Here, the cell wall‐binding glycopeptide antibiotic vancomycin is conjugated to selected staple strands and displayed in multivalent arrangements on the DNA origami surface to facilitate the ...

Progress towards a monophyletic Ozothamnus (Asteraceae: Gnaphalieae)
Abstract The Cassinia clade (Asteraceae: Gnaphalieae) is a predominantly shrubby group of ca. 100 species occurring in Australia and New Zealand. Most species are currently placed in the large genera Cassinia and Ozothamnus, and their various satellite genera comprise between one and five species each.

Nomenclature and typification of sectional names in Carex (Cyperaceae)
Abstract This paper presents an updated survey of all the published names at the section rank in Carex and its formerly accepted satellite genera. We included related names at other ranks when relevant. We address validity, legitimacy, priority, typification, and – if relevant – synonymy.
