Achromatic 3D Multi‐Color Orbital Angular Momentum Holography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an achromatic 3D multicolor orbital angular momentum (OAM) holography based on spatial multiplexing. By integrating wavelength‐specific lens functions onto monochromatic Fourier OAM‐dependent holograms and high‐resolution spatial discretization and interleaving via two‐photon lithography (TPL), the approach addresses axial chromatic ...

Rational Design of a Facially Coordinating P,N,N Ligand for Manganese‐Catalysed Enantioselective Hydrogenation of Cyclic Ketones

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 62, Issue 3, January 16, 2023., 2023
A Mn catalyst has been rationally redesigned to repel sp3hybridised substituents while attracting sp2 substituents, and hence enable enantioselective hydrogenation of cyclic ketones. DFT calculations enable a robust prediction of the level of enantiocontrol across a range of substrates.

Light‐Driven PAA Adhesive: A Green Bonding Platform Integrating High‐Performance, Environmental Resilience, and Closed‐Loop Recyclability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This investigation introduces the formulation of a cutting‐edge, robust polyacrylic aqueous adhesive (PAA), synthesized through the employment of visible‐light initiated polymerization. The adhesive demonstrates minimal energy demand, environmental friendliness, robust adhesive properties (20.86 MPa on wood), remarkable thermal stability (with ...

The Role of Cytochrome P450 AbyV in the Final Stages of Abyssomicin C Biosynthesis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 62, Issue 3, January 16, 2023., 2023
The cytochrome P450 enzyme AbyV catalyses a key epoxidation in the final stages of the biosynthesis of the spirotetronate antibiotic abyssomicin C. Combining structural and computational data with a 13C labelling strategy was found to be a powerful approach to interrogate the biotransformation and determine the precise function of the enzyme.

Tuning the Organic Electrochemical Transistor (OECT) Threshold Voltage with Monomer Blends

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel approach is introduced to modulate the threshold voltage of organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) through the copolymerization of monomers with differently charged sidechains. We demonstrate that blends of water‐soluble tri‐thiophene compounds with anionic and zwitterionic sidechains form compositionally uniform aggregates at different ...

A Physics‐Based Compact Model for Ferroelectric Capacitors Operating Down to Deep Cryogenic Temperatures for Applications in Analog Memory and Neuromorphic Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A compact model for ferroelectric thin‐film capacitors operating under different electric fields and temperatures is reported. The model can reproduce polarization switching down to 4 K, making them suitable for quantum computing and space technologies.

Rapid and Ultra‐Sensitive SARS‐CoV‐2 Subgenomic RNA Detection Using Single‐Molecule With a Large Transistor‐SiMoT Bioelectronic Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The single‐molecule with a large transistor‐SiMoT is proposed for the detection of the subgenomic RNA of SARS‐CoV‐2, achieving a diagnostic sensitivity of 98.0% and a specificity of 87.8%. The SiMoT technology, currently at TRL‐5, is suitable for point‐of‐care settings and delivers the result to the end user in 30 min.
