Lactation is Associated with Accelerated Postpartum Pelvic Floor Muscle Recovery in a Pregnant Simulated Birth Injury Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Healthy pelvic floor muscles (PFMs) are essential for proper pelvic floor function. The biggest risk factor for PFM dysfunction is injury sustained during vaginal childbirth, yet the factors that facilitate or impair PFM recovery from birth injury remain unknown.

MENENTUKAN HARGA KONTRAK BERJANGKA NILAI TUKAR RUPIAH TERHADAP DOLLAR AS MENGGUNAKAN DISTRIBUSI LOGNORMAL

open access: yesE-Jurnal Matematika, 2015
The purpose of this study is to determine the fair price of a futures contract for the IDR (Rupiah) against the USD using lognormal distribution simulation. This result is compared with interest rate parity theorem.

Effects of Some Breeding Criteria on Financial Evaluation Indicators for Dairy Cattle Investment Projects

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Agriculture: Food Science and Technology, 2017
This study was conducted with the aim of determining the probable effects of different real interest rates (RIR: 5, 6 and 7%), some key breeding criteria such as calving rate (CR: 80, 85 and 90%) and mean lactation milk yield per milking cow (MLML: 5000,

Decoupling Intrinsic Molecular Efficacy From Platform Effects: An Interpretable Machine Learning Framework for Unbiased Perovskite Passivator Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an interpretable machine learning framework that disentangles the intrinsic molecular efficacy of passivators from experimental platform effects—enabling unbiased, high‐throughput discovery of effective perovskite surface modifiers.

A New Customizable Surfactant LLPS Strategy for Sustainable and Highly Efficient Radioactive Metal Ion Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A diluent‐free, customizable liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) platform enables highly efficient radioactive metal ion extraction and stripping. By encapsulating hydrophobic extractants into an ionic surfactant‐rich condensed phase, this LLPS system leverages synergistic electrostatic and coordination interactions.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

THE APPLICATION OF REGRESSION ANALYSIS IN TESTING UNCOVERED INTEREST RATE PARIT

open access: yesQuantitative Methods in Economics, 2013
The aim of the paper is to evaluate and compare two linear regression models proposed by Froot and Frankel (1989) and to show their application in verification of the uncovered interest rate parity (UIP) hypothesis in the selected ten exchange rate ...

Physics‐Informed Machine Learning for Sustainable Alloy Design: Toward a Recyclable Unified Q&P Steel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A physics‐informed property‐bridging framework links high‐throughput hardness screening to tensile performance in quenching and partitioning steels. By transferring metallurgically guided representations across properties, a single alloy composition is designed to achieve multiple strength grades through heat‐treatment tuning alone, offering a ...

The IMF’s High Interest Rate Policy and Its Effects on the Stabilization of the Korean Won

open access: yesEast Asian Economic Review, 2000
There has been a lively debate whether high interest rates were effective in stabilizing the exchange rate in the wake of the Asian currency crisis. Many economists insist that high interest rates not only failed to stabilize the Korean won, but also ...

Temperature‐Driven Emission Redistribution of Yb2+ in SrB4O7 Enables Highly Sensitive Optical Thermometry Supported by Multiple Linear Regression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel optical thermometer exploits the rare UV emission of Yb2+ ions in a SrB4O7 host, enabling highly sensitive, non‐contact temperature measurements from 80 to 420 K. The applied multiple linear regression (MLR) analysis results in a multiple increase in the resulting temperature sensitivity.
