A Global Comparison of Common Approaches for Tracing Carnivore Diet

open access: yesMammal Review, Volume 56, Issue 1, March 2026.
Many researchers are faced with the decision of how to quantify terrestrial carnivore diets. By synthesising studies that compared multiple approaches, we show that each approach has strengths and weaknesses, both for dietary inference and across other dimensions that researchers should consider.

Religion and Official Politics in Contemporary China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan

open access: yesReligion Compass, Volume 20, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT With increasing discussions on political deification and the official references to traditional religions in the People's Republic of China (PRC), recent debates on the PRC's alleged infiltration over Taiwan elections through the goddess Mazu, and the post‐Handover government's emphasis on filiality to China in Hong Kong, it is high time to ...

All Social Comparisons are Local? Inequality, Coethnicity and Subjective Economic Position

open access: yesSwiss Political Science Review, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 156-176, March 2026.

In this paper, we study how local conditions – local inequality and coethnicity – affect this self‐assessment.

Threatened by the “Other”? Swiss Integration Policies and Citizens' Perceptions of Migrants Through the Lens of Reflective Solidarity

open access: yesSwiss Political Science Review, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 129-155, March 2026.

Oceanic δ13C Fingerprints Caused by Laurentice Ice Sheet Discharges: Model‐Data Comparison During Heinrich Event 4

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract This study investigates the sensitivity of the oceanic circulation and δ13C ${\delta }^{13}C$ of the dissolved inorganic carbon to ice discharge events from the Laurentide ice sheet (LIS), using an isotope‐enabled and coupled climate–ice sheet model, and observations. The ice discharges are triggered by either reduced friction at the ice sheet‐

Low Cloud Dispersion Effects by Anthropogenic Aerosols in Polluted Air

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract Aerosol–cloud interactions (ACI) are a major source of uncertainty in anthropogenic climate forcing. Anthropogenic aerosols modulate the cloud albedo by impacting the relative dispersion (ε) of cloud droplet size distributions (CDSDs), known as the dispersion effect.
