Efficient Synthesis of Hydroxylamine via Nitrate Electroreduction on Sulfate/Oxide‐Derived Lead Catalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
We report a sulfate‐derived Pb (SOD‐Pb) electrocatalyst that achieves exceptional performance for NH2OH synthesis via nitrate electroreduction, delivering >80% Faradaic efficiency across a broad potential range (−0.4 to −1.0 V) and reaching a record partial current density of −129 mA cm−2 at −1.2 V.

The plasticisation model of dye diffusion: Part 5

open access: yesColoration Technology, Volume 142, Issue 2, Page 296-326, April 2026.
Abstract The findings presented in the previous part of the paper (Part 4) of the re‐evaluation of previously published data reported for the temperature‐dependent diffusion of an organic acid within nylon 6 film, desorption of three acid dyes from dyed nylon 66 fabric, diffusion of an acid dye within nylon 6 monofilaments and adsorption of a sulphur ...

The plasticisation model of dye diffusion: Part 4

open access: yesColoration Technology, Volume 142, Issue 1, Page 119-141, February 2026.
Abstract Previously published data reported for the temperature dependency of the diffusion of an organic acid within PA 6 film, as well as the desorption of three acid dyes from dyed nylon 66 fabric, diffusion of an acid dye within nylon 6 film and the adsorption of a sulphur dye onto nylon 66 fabric, over a diverse range of application/washing/dyeing

Preparation and Analysis of High‐Performance Thermoplastic Composites

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 47, Issue 2, Page 1860-1871, 20 January 2026.
Applied test methods for high‐performance thermoplastic polymer composites. ABSTRACT As the plastics industry continues to grow, the amount of plastic waste increases. The European Union is trying to reduce the amount of plastic waste through various actions. Recycling is perhaps the best way to achieve this.

Adapting an acyl CoA ligase from Metallosphaera sedula for lactam formation by structure-guided protein engineering

open access: yesFrontiers in Catalysis
The CoA ligase from Metallosphaera sedula (MsACL) can be used for the chemoenzymatic synthesis of amides from carboxylic acids. In this CoA-independent conversion, the enzyme catalyzes the adenylation of a carboxylic acid with the help of ATP, followed ...

Insight into chemically reactive metabolites of aliphatic amine pollutants: A de novo prediction strategy and case study of sertraline

open access: yesEnvironment International
The uncommon metabolic pathways of organic pollutants are easily overlooked, potentially leading to idiosyncratic toxicity. Prediction of their biotransformation associated with the toxic effects is the very purpose that this work focuses, to develop a ...
