A Type-I seesaw framework with non-holomorphic modular symmetry

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We study neutrino mass generation within the framework of non-holomorphic modular symmetry proposed by Qu and Ding. In this formalism, neutrino masses are generated via the Type-I seesaw mechanism, where the Yukawa couplings depend on non-holomorphic ...

Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Soft Neural Interfaces for Circuit‐Level Analysis of Magnetogenetic Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease Models

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Magnetogenetic deep brain stimulation (MG‐DBS) represents a wireless neuromodulation that has demonstrated long‐lasting behavioral benefits in Parkinson's disease models. However, the circuit‐level mechanisms underlying these therapeutic effects have remained uncharacterized due to limitations of conventional neural interfaces.

Designed Liquid Crystalline Nanoassemblies From Clinically Validated Polyunsaturated Lipids for Combined Antioxidant, Anti‐Apoptotic, and Neurotrophic Treatments

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Ionizable lipid nanoparticles target multiple pathological pathways in neurodegeneration. The designed self‐assembled materials undergo a pH‐triggered structural transformation from a cubosome/hexosome coexistence to a hexosome phase, enhancing intracellular delivery of a multi‐target phytochemical formulation. The antioxidant‐loaded pH‐responsive LNPs

The noetic λόγος: analysis of propositional logic of the Corpus Hermeticum 12.12-14a

open access: yes, 2021
This article deals with an object of Philosophy, strictly the Philosophy of Language, which concerns the study of the logic and of the dialectics. So, it proposes to analyze the dialectic-logical conceptual aspects in the Corpus Hermeticum (Corp. Herm.) 12.12-14a in comparison with the logical texts of the Stoicorum Veterum Fragmenta (Stoic. Vet. Fr.),

Model‐Driven Optimization of Subcutaneous Polymer Prodrugs Achieves Cancer Remission in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) model was developed to evaluate multiple dosing regimens for subcutaneously administered water‐soluble polymer prodrug for cancer therapy. The model enabled prediction of in vivo performance and contributed to the optimization of anticancer efficacy.

Measurement of the CP-violating weak phase ϕ s and the decay width difference ΔΓ s using the Bs0→J/ψϕ(1020) decay channel in pp collisions at s=8 TeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
The CP-violating weak phase ϕs of the Bs0 meson and the decay width difference ΔΓs of the Bs0 light and heavy mass eigenstates are measured with the CMS detector at the LHC using a data sample of Bs0→J/ψϕ(1020)→μ+μ−K+K− decays. The analysed data set corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 19.7fb−1 collected in pp collisions at a ...

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

χ c 0 (1 P ) decay into Σ¯ Σπ in search of an I = 1, 1/2 − baryon state around K¯N threshold

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We present the theoretical study of the process χc0(1P)→Σ¯Σπ decay, by taking into account the π Σ and πΣ¯ final state interactions of the final meson-baryon pair based on the chiral unitary approach. We show that the process filters the isospin I=1 in the π Σ channel and offers a reaction to test the existence of an I=1 state with strangeness S=−1 and
