Comparison of phenotypic correlations within and between control and heat shock groups for eyespot size and pigment rings.

open access: yes, 2016
Edges infer integration among eyespots based on edge exclusion deviance values above the critical value from the χ2 distribution. Eyespots without edges are conditionally independent from all other eyespots, χ2 32].

Onasemnogene Abeparvovec in Type I Spinal Muscular Atrophy: 24‐Month Follow‐Up From the Italian Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA) is an AAV9‐based gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy type I (SMA I). Real‐world outcomes show increased response variability compared to clinical trials, and follow‐up data beyond 12–18 months are limited.

The asymptotic distribution of the likelihood ratio criterion for testing rank in multivariate components of variance

open access: yes, 1989
In the balanced multivariate components of variance the likelihood ratio criterion depends on the roots of a determinantal equation involving the “between” and “within” matric sums of squares.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Choroid Plexus Enlargement and USPIO‐Based Inflammatory Feature in Cerebral Small Vessel Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The choroid plexus (CP) is a key component of the blood–cerebrospinal fluid barrier (BCSFB), but its mechanism of action in cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) remains unclear. This study investigated CP volume (CPV) alterations and their association with conventional imaging markers in CSVD and explored the underlying role of ...

Spectrum sensing method based on likelihood ratio goodness-of-fit test

open access: yes, 2015
A blind spectrum sensing method based on the goodness-of-fit (GoF) test using the likelihood ratio is studied. In the proposed method, the χ2 distribution is used for GoF testing. The performance of the method is evaluated through Monte Carlo simulations.

Developing the composed probability model to predict household trip production (a case study of Isfahan city)

open access: yesTransport, 2009
Household trip production is not a constant parameter and vary based on socio‐economic characteristics. Even households produce several numbers of trips in each category (households with constant socio‐economic characteristics).

Investigation heme oxygenase-1 polymorphism with the pathogenesis of preeclampsia

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Hypertension, 2020
Objectives: The involvement of oxidative stress in the pathophysiology of preeclampsia (PE) has been already suggested. In this present study, we aimed to investigate the association of the genetic frequency of heme oxygense-1 (HMOX1) polymorphism with ...
