This work describes the basic design of the transformer. A list of transformer cooling systems is provided. The methods of thermal calculation are analyzed. The geometry of the power oil transformer is created in SOLIDWORKS and the geometry of the closed transformer substation is created in COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS.

This paper outlines the technology and feature of the oxygen converter production. The calculation of the heat and material balances of the oxygen converter was made. Also, consumption ratios per 100 kilogram of metal charge and per 1 ton of produced steel are calculated.
