The work includes the detailed joint modeling of the steel mesh geodesic dome and the calculation in software packages, in order to reveal the influence of the flexibility of the nodes on the unbraced lengths of the dome elements. The design schemes of the dome were compiled using the SCAD and ANSYS software packages.
