Present work is dedicated to enhancing of the spatial resolution of optical phase reflectometric systems based on Rayleigh scattering. Probe pulse modulation is used in order to increase the spatial resolution. In present work LFM signals, M-sequences and Barker codes are used for probe pulse modulation.

Duplex corrosion–resistant steels are a relatively new class of steels that combine the best properties of ferritic and austenitic steels. This is achieved by balancing the ferritic and austenitic phases in the steel composition. However, the presence of non-metallic inclusions in steel can negatively affect the properties of the material.
