BIFURCATION PROBLEMS OF STABILITY OF HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2016
We consider two bifurcation problems of stability with respect to high-rise buildings, in- teracting with a deformable base. The effect of "overall stability" is estimated on the stability of the rectilinear shape of the axis high-rise object.

Factors influencing the critical load and propagating of buckling in shallow reticulated domes (state-of-the-art)

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Engineering Research, 2013
Shallow lattice domes can be used to cover large support-free, e. g. assembly halls, sports stadium and exhibition halls. Over the last four decades the problem of buckling of shallow lattice domes has grown in importance because of several interrelated ...

OVERALL BIFURCATION STABILITY AND DEFORMATIONS OF INCLINATION OF TALL BUILDINGS

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2015
The article discusses the results of calculation of the critical load for the system "high- altitude object - base". The comparison of the results of a computer model calculation, per- formed in the software package MONOMAH, with the literalized ...

OVERALL STABILITY BIFURCATION TALL OBJECTS BASED ON THE MODEL BASE AS A PLANE BOUNDED HALF

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2015
The article considers the model problem of the bifurcation stability of tall objects on de- formable foundation slab interacting with the base model based on the half-plane bounded on the basis of the Navier equations of ...

WORKING OUT AND ESTIMATION OF NUMERICAL ALGORITHM OF STABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE NONLINEAR DEFORMABLE SHALLOW CYLINDRICAL SHELL

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2010
In this article the behavior of the shallow elastic-plastic cylindrical shell under the uniformly distributed load is analyzed. The basics of the problem solving by applying the finite difference energy method and incremental technique are presented.
