Оптимизация нелинейного ограничителя перенапряжений 750 кВ

A typical construction of surge arrester is analysed in this work. The diameter of varistor and the height of varistor column were calculated by means of maximal current and voltage. Mechanical stability of GRP pipes is studied. The screen and insulation systems are calculated. Thermal calculation of varistors is done.
