The work is devoted to studying the idea of ââfatherhood among Russian and Turkmen students. A theoretical analysis of the existing literature on the topic of the phenomenon of fatherhood in the context of ideas about the family was carried out. The comparative psychological approach to the concept of fatherhood is characterized.
