The given work is devoted to the experimental study of a phenomenon of optical orientation of spins of manganese d-electrons in the excited state at intracenter d-d transitions in a wide-gap diluted magnetic semiconductor ZnMnSe with a low concentration of manganese in a magnetic field in the Faraday geometry at temperature 1.8 K.
