PVC and its derivatives were used to prepare new types of UF membranes. Membranes had a high degree of removal efficiency of pollutants from carwash wastewater. The morphological SEM cross‐sectional of the membranes reveals to be porous ultrafiltration membranes.

Abstract The article introduces a database of light backscattering matrices calculated for all typical ice crystal shapes of cirrus clouds, excluding particle aggregates. The particles are assumed to be randomly oriented. A unique feature of this database, compared to existing ones, is that it provides solutions for the entire range of particle sizes ...

ABSTRACT Background Patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) often undergo organ resection, with treatment strategies based on recurrence risk. Current metastatic potential assessments rely on the WHO/ISUP grading system, which is subject to interobserver variability.

Land influence decouples benthic nutrient fluxes on the Siberian Arctic Ocean shelves
Abstract Land permafrost thaw transfers increasing amounts of organic matter and nutrients to the Arctic Ocean. These nutrients could stimulate primary production directly, or indirectly following remineralization in sediments. Projections of this effect are limited by scarce observations and poor understanding of the underlying controls.

Abstract The first time‐resolved leader spectra associated with a downward Terrestrial Gamma‐ray Flash (TGF) observed by the Telescope Array Surface Detector (TASD) were recently reported by Kieu et al. (2024, https://doi.org/10.1029/2024JD041720). Building on that study, this paper presents the time‐resolved leader spectra of two additional downward ...

The paper discusses the role of scale anomaly in generating edge electric currents via the scale magnetic effect in scalar electrodynamics. Although the boundary electric current is much weaker than the Meissner current induced in superconducting materials, the scale anomaly can enhance conductivity near the boundary of the material.
