The object of the study is contaminated selenium, spent its life, and glass three-component system As-Se. In this paper we consider the main types of two-component and three-component chalcogenide glasses and their thermal and optical properties. The method of synthesis of chalcogenide glasses in quartz isolated ampoules is applied.
