The aim of this work was to characterize influenza A virus strain A/Leningrad/9/46/162/28 (H1N1). This strain was obtained from epidemic strain A/Leningrad/9/1946 (H1N1) in the Laboratory of Influenza Vaccines via multiple passages in the system of developing chicken embryos at optimal and reduced temperatures.
