El-Wasathiya: Jurnal Studi Agama, 2016 Abstrak: Shorof telah menjadi bagian dari ilmu linguistic Arab yang mempelajari tentang struktur kata dan perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi padanya. Pada pertengahan abad pertama Hijriyah, shorof tumbuh bersama ilmu nahwu, sebagai satu macam ilmu bahasa. Selanjutnya ilmu shorof berkembang sendiri secara terpisah dari ilmu nahwu.
