Parasites at the Summit: Unexpected Geographic Distribution of the Blood Parasite Lineage Found in the Endangered Giant Lizard of Tenerife

We combined microscopic screening and molecular phylogenetic analyses to characterize blood parasites infecting Gallotia intermedia from the coastal cliffs of Montaña de Guaza and to place these infections in a broader biogeographic context. Staff Preferences for Operating Theatre Scrub Attire

A Children's Hospital operating theatre staff survey showed preferences for dark blue over light blue scrubs, and those with an elastic waistband and trouser style pockets. Thematic reasons include: comfort/fit/availability, professionalism, functionality/practicality, dignity/self‐esteem, modesty/privacy, stains/sweat/dirt and safety.
