Precision holography for N=2∗ $$ \mathcal{N}={2}^{\ast } $$ on S 4 from type IIB supergravity
We find a new supersymmetric solution of type IIB supergravity which is holographically dual to the planar limit of the four-dimensional N=2∗ $$ \mathcal{N}={2}^{\ast } $$ supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory on S 4.

On continuous 2-category symmetries and Yang-Mills theory
We study a 4d gauge theory U(1) N−1 ⋊ S N obtained from a U(1) N−1 theory by gauging a 0-form symmetry S N . We show that this theory has a global continuous 2-category symmetry, whose structure is particularly rich for N > 2.

The High Spin Expansion of Twist Sector Dimensions: The Planar 𝒩 = 4 Super Yang‐Mills Theory
This review is devoted to collecting some results on the high spin expansion of (minimal) anomalous dimension. Thanks to the recent rationale on integrability, planar 𝒩 = 4 super Yang‐Mills theory (or its AdS5 × S5 string counterpart) represents a very practicable field.

Monopole-antimonopole condensation in the interpolating Georgi-Glashow model
We study the three dimensional Georgi-Glashow model (which interpolates smoothly between pure U(1) and SU(2) limits) using a constrained cooling which preserves 't Hooft-Polyakov monopoles.

Holographic Duality with a View Toward Many‐Body Physics
These are notes based on a series of lectures given at the KITP workshop Quantum Criticality and the AdS/CFT Correspondence in July, 2009. The goal of the lectures was to introduce condensed matter physicists to the AdS/CFT correspondence. Discussion of string theory and of supersymmetry is avoided to the extent possible.

Supersymmetric Wilson loops via integral forms
We study supersymmetric Wilson loops from a geometrical perspective. To this end, we propose a new formulation of these operators in terms of an integral form associated to the immersion of the loop into a supermanifold. This approach provides a unifying

A note on twist two operators in N=4 SYM and Wilson loops in Minkowski signature [PDF]
Recently the anomalous dimension of twist two operators in N=4 SYM theory was computed by Gubser, Klebanov and Polyakov in the limit of large 't Hooft coupling using semi-classical rotating strings in AdS_5.

Wilson loops and defect RG flows in ABJM
We continue our study of renormalization group (RG) flows on Wilson loop defects in ABJM theory, which we have initiated in arXiv:2211.16501 . We generalize that analysis by including non-supersymmetric fixed points and RG trajectories.

Volume dependence of two-dimensional large-N QCD with a nonzero density of baryons
We take a first step towards the solution of QCD in 1+1 dimensions at nonzero density. We regularize the theory in the UV by using a lattice and in the IR by putting the theory in a box of spatial size L.
