Low Cycle Repetitive Loading of Ti‐6Al‐4V‐Epoxy Composite Lattice Structures for Enhanced Energy Dissipation and Damage Tolerance

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

Enhancing Bubble Removal in Geometry‐Optimized Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
3D‐printed lattice electrodes outperform stochastic foams in alkaline water electrolysis despite 20%–25% lower surface area. Straight flow channels generate Venturi‐like bubble entrainment, suppressing gas accumulation that renders foam interiors electrochemically inactive.

Killing tensors and conformai Killing tensors from conformal Killing vectors

open access: yes, 2003
Koutras has proposed some methods to construct reducible proper conformal Killing tensors and Killing tensors (which are, in general, irreducible) when a pair of orthogonal conformal Killing vectors exist in a given space.

Exploration of Pseudobinary Alloys (Al–Mn)‐(Co–Fe–Ni) to Design High‐Entropy and Compositionally Complex Alloys to Stabilize the τ Phase in Al–Mn‐Based Ferromagnetic Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This experimental study investigates the thermodynamic limits of the Al–Mn τ ferromagnetic phase within complex‐composition alloys (CCAs). Using nine rare‐earth‐free compositions, it explores a broad region of the pseudobinary AlMnCoFeNi system. The results reveal intricate links between composition, phase stability, and magnetic behavior, highlighting

ℋ∞ And ℋ2 Guaranteed Costs Computation For Uncertain Linear Systems

open access: yes, 2015
This paper proposes an LMIs characterization of guaranteed ℋ∞ and ℋ2 norms costs for linear systems with convex bounded parameter uncertainties.

Biquadratic Tensors: Eigenvalues and Structured Tensors

open access: yes
The covariance tensors in statistics and Riemann curvature tensor in relativity theory are both biquadratic tensors that are weakly symmetric, but not symmetric in general.

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

On n-circled $ℋ^{∞}$-domains of holomorphy

open access: yes, 1997
We present various characterizations of n-circled domains of holomorphy $G ⊂ ℂ^n$ with respect to some subspaces of $ℋ^∞(G)$
