Prospects of “topologically unquenched QCD” from a study of the analogous importance sampling method in the massive Schwinger model [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2000
I give a quick summary of my proposal for simulating an improvement on quenched QCD with dynamical fermions which interact with the gluon configuration only via the topological index of the latter. It amounts to include only the topological part of the functional determinant into the measure, thereby absorbing a correction factor into the observable. I

Bombay hypertopologies

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2003
Recently it was shown that, in a metric space, the upper Wijsman convergence can be topologized with the introduction of a new far-miss topology. The resulting Wijsman topology is a mixture of the ball topology and the proximal ball topology.

New light on Bergman complexes by decomposing matroid types [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2012
Bergman complexes are polyhedral complexes associated to matroids. Faces of these complexes are certain matroids, called matroid types, too. In order to understand the structure of these faces we decompose matroid types into direct summands.

Equivalence of K-functionals and modulus of smoothness generated by a Dunkl type operator on the interval $(-1, 1)$

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique, 2023
Our aim in this paper is to show that the modulus of smoothness and the $K$-functionals constructed from the Sobolev-type space corresponding to the Dunkl operator are equivalent on the interval $(-1,1)$.

Graph topologies on closed multifunctions

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2003
In this paper we study function space topologies on closed multifunctions, i.e. closed relations on X x Y using various hypertopologies. The hypertopologies are in essence, graph topologies i.e topologies on functions considered as graphs which are ...

On the Wiener Complexity and the Wiener Index of Fullerene Graphs

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Fullerenes are molecules that can be presented in the form of cage-like polyhedra, consisting only of carbon atoms. Fullerene graphs are mathematical models of fullerene molecules.

ICrAData - Software for InterCriteria Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal Bioautomation, 2018
In this paper, we consider the InterCriteria Analysis (ICrA), which is based on the index matrices and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We demonstrate the application of ICrA using the software ICrAData.

An Application of Total-Colored Graphs to Describe Mutations in Non-Mendelian Genetics

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Any gene mutation during the mitotic cell cycle of a eukaryotic cell can be algebraically represented by an isotopism of the evolution algebra describing the genetic pattern of the inheritance process.
