Learner‐Focused Strategy Instruction From the Teachers’ and the Learners’ Perspective
ABSTRACT Numerous large‐scale quantitative studies have been conducted to yield a macro‐level picture of the effectiveness of strategy instruction. However, little is understood about learners' actual processing of strategy instruction and interaction with the teachers delivering it.

ABSTRACT In the face of increasingly complex environmental challenges, subnational governments play a critical role in implementing climate policies. This study investigates how intergovernmental interactions—specifically formal authority interactions and informal competitive interactions—shape the adoption of climate policies by Chinese provincial ...

Abstract Narratives play an essential role in fast‐paced policy making that occurs during crises. The COVID‐19 pandemic brought numerous disruptions of normality, including school closures, which were intensely debated in narratives by many policy actors. Two shutdowns of New York City's public school system affected over 1.1 million students.

ABSTRACT Objectives To investigate the impact of aspirin administration on the incidence of preterm birth, according to the type of delivery and gestational age at preterm birth, and to examine the hypothesis that aspirin delays preterm delivery. Methods This was a secondary analysis of a multicenter stepped‐wedge cluster randomized trial of a first ...

The Historical Roots of Energy Consumption: Does Financial Development Matter?
ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to investigate how statehood experience affects energy consumption through the advancement of finance and its sub‐sectors. By doing so, the study uses the ordinary and two‐stage least squares methods to analyze data from 111 countries spanning from 2000 to 2018.

ABSTRACT Objective Accurate differentiation between placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) and uterine‐scar dehiscence with underlying non‐adherent placenta is often challenging, even for PAS experts, both prenatally and intraoperatively. We investigated the use of standardized two‐dimensional grayscale ultrasound and Doppler imaging markers in ...

Study on flutter characteristics of NACA0012 flexible straight wing with high-aspect-ratio

Abstract Reintroduced populations are typically considered to progress through establishment, growth, and regulatory phases. However, most reintroduction programs do not monitor intensively enough to test this conceptual model. We studied population indices derived from track activity of 4 threatened species (greater bilby [Macrotis lagotis], burrowing
