“新工科”建设指明了我国工程教育改革的新方向，为新兴领域工程科技人才培养模式的构建带来了新思路。以大数据、云计算、人工智能为代表的新一代信息技术的迅猛发展为新工科建设的推进起到了“排头兵”的作用。工科的自动化专业作为信息技术的引领专业，在人才培养中占据重要作用。本篇文章从新工科建设理念出发，通过分析现有自动化专业人才培养的问题，结合我院自动化专业人才培养实际，提出新工科背景下将人工智能课程融入自动化专业人才培养模式的探究。
