Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolation from dog grooming products used by private owners or by professional pet grooming salons: prevalence and risk factors

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 33, Issue 4, Page 316-e73, August 2022., 2022
Abstract Background Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the most commonly isolated bacterium from skin lesions of dogs with post‐grooming furunculosis (PGF). It is frequently found in human hair and skin care products, and may pose a health risk to consumers. Information regarding the prevalence of P. aeruginosa contamination of dog grooming products is lacking.

Family dynamics and implications for young people's ‘struggles’ in rural areas of post‐conflict northern Uganda

open access: yesDisasters, Volume 46, Issue 2, Page 567-586, April 2022., 2022
A growing body of literature on wartime social change reveals how disruptions in social institutions can have post‐war effects, but there is limited knowledge of how such changes shape the lives of rural young people. The Acholi region of northern Uganda experienced two decades of armed conflict and forced displacement (1986–2006).

International clinical practice recommendations on the definition, diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and psychosocial aspects of developmental coordination disorder – Chinese (Mandarin) translation

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, Volume 61, Issue 3, Page E1-E35, March 2019., 2019

Nutrient‐specific compensation for seasonal cold stress in a free‐ranging temperate colobine monkey

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 32, Issue 9, Page 2170-2180, September 2018., 2018
Plain Language Summary Abstract Homeostatic responses of animals to environmentally induced changes in nutrient requirements provide a powerful basis for predictive ecological models, and yet, such responses are virtually unstudied in the wild. We tested for macronutrient‐specific compensatory feeding responses by free‐ranging golden snub‐nosed monkeys

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2002
