Dianci bileiqi, 1988 叙述了一种用于特高压GIS的经改进了的气体绝缘套管,这种套管在瓷套内设有一个简化的电容芯子。分析了电容芯子的布置及电容量对沿瓷套外表面电压分布的影响,并研制了一个比例为特高压气体绝缘套管原型2/3的模型（瓷套高6.7m）。电压分布及绝缘耐受电压的特性试验表明其电压分布得到了很大的改善,且在湿状态下绝缘的操作冲击耐受电压比常规的气体绝缘套管提高了约30％。
