野生动物学报, 1987 新加坡动物园堪称亚洲最美丽的动物园也是世界上最好的动物园之一。绿树,芳草与园中匠心独具的建筑相结合,从而展示出独持的风貌。新加坡动物园于1973年1月建成开放,总投资九百万新元。整个动物园占地90多公顷,其中28公顷之多辟为动物展览地。在这里,我们看不到关卡和栅栏,动物是用水沟和矮墙来隔离的。由于展览地与自然状态差不多,动物很适应这样的环境,出于心理作用,它们很少外逃。因此,人们称新加坡动物园为“开放公园”。

野生动物学报, 2007 通过对国内动物园调查发现,从20世纪90年代中期至今十几年,人们对动物园环境丰容这一概念逐步得到认识,其应用也越来越广泛,如1995年北京动物园开始尝试对猩猩馆进行环境丰容后,随后卧龙大熊猫研究中心、上海动物园、成都动物园等也有这方面的试验,其他动物园也相继开展相关工作。本文对国内动物园环境丰容工作成果进行总结,归纳出动物园环境丰容技术及效果评估方法,并对环境丰容工作中存在的问题提出了相应的建议。
