野生动物学报, 2014 动物园动物福利问题越来越受到人们的关注。由于有限的空间、持续的游客刺激以及一成不变的饲养管理模式,导致了动物个体的行为及生理变化。这不仅不利于动物的身心健康,也使动物园的教育功能大打折扣。通过环境丰容的手段不仅能有效地改善动物的福利状况,同时作为保护教育的一种载体能更有效地传递动物保护信息。本文从两者的定义、特点讨论分析了两者互相结合、互相促进发展的可能,并且建议按照不同的群体针对性地进行简单的保护教育和丰容工作相结合的各项活动。
