Effects of trauma‐focused rumination among trauma‐exposed individuals with and without posttraumatic stress disorder: An experiment

open access: yesJournal of Traumatic Stress, Volume 36, Issue 2, Page 285-298, April 2023., 2023
Abstract Rumination, or thinking repetitively about one's distress, is a risk factor for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Current theories suggest that rumination contributes to PTSD symptoms directly, by increasing negative reactions to trauma cues (i.e., symptom exacerbation), or represents a form of cognitive avoidance, if verbal ruminations ...

Effect of inhaled corticosteroids on microbiome and microbial correlations in asthma over a 9‐month period

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 15, Issue 7, Page 1723-1736, July 2022., 2022
Abstract The effect of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) on the airway microbiome requires longitudinal research for corroboration. Asthma patients, not undergoing ICS treatment (baseline), were enrolled and prescribed ICS; all these patients were followed up with regular visits at 3 months (visit 1) and 9 months (visit 2).

Prevalence and impact of diabetes in hospitalized COVID‐19 patients: A systematic review and meta‐analysis 住院新型冠状病毒肺炎患者糖尿病患病率及其影响的系统回顾和meta分析

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes, Volume 14, Issue 2, Page 144-157, February 2022., 2022
Highlights Diabetes may predispose COVID‐19 hospitalized patients to worse clinical outcomes. Our findings indicate that diabetes is significantly associated with increased odds of severe COVID‐19, acute respiratory distress syndrome, mortality, and need for mechanical ventilation in hospitalized patients.

Clinical signs and diagnosis of feline atopic syndrome: detailed guidelines for a correct diagnosis

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 26-e6, February 2021., 2021

COVID‐19 and comorbidities: A role for dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) in disease severity? 新冠肺炎与合并症:二肽基肽酶4在疾病严重程度中的作用?

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes, Volume 12, Issue 9, Page 649-658, September 2020., 2020
Highlights Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) is caused by SARS‐CoV‐2; recent modeling of the structure of SARS‐CoV‐2 spike glycoprotein, which mediates viral‐host‐cell entry, predicts interactions with dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) in addition to angiotensin‐converting enzyme 2.

Concentration‐Response Relationship between PM2.5 and Daily Respiratory Deaths in China: A Systematic Review and Metaregression Analysis of Time‐Series Studies

open access: yesBioMed Research International, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
The association between the particulate matters with aerodynamic diameter ≤ 2.5 μm (PM2.5) and daily respiratory deaths, particularly the concentration‐response pattern, has not been fully examined and established in China. We conducted a systematic review of time‐series studies to compile information on the associations between PM2.5 concentration and
