Implementing Innovative Climate Change Procedural Instruments to Mitigate Livestock Farming Foodprint in Colorado State, United States of America

open access: yesReview of Policy Research, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 1428-1449, November 2025.
ABSTRACT In Colorado, cattle farming—the state's leading agricultural sector—is a significant source of methane emissions. In response, both the government and producers have initiated efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change and enhance sustainability.

Moderate time grazing in the warm season maintained the diversity and complexity of soil microorganisms by regulating nutrient cycling and decomposition function

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 39, Issue 10, Page 2772-2789, October 2025.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract The soil microbial community plays an important role in maintaining the functional balance of grassland ecosystems. However, it is unclear how soil microbial diversity and complexity change in the desert steppe under different grazing times and what ecosystem factors ...

Reoccurrence of Dust Storms in South Asia and Their Implications for Vegetation Health

open access: yesIntegrative Conservation, Volume 4, Issue 3, Page 362-380, September 2025.
Occurrences of dust storms and long‐distance movement of dust across landscapes is constantly increasing in south Asia. This dust is expected to have profound impact on vegetation health and sustainability as dust may contribute to nutrient budgets of the forest ecosystems, while it could impart various stresses to the plants.

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2002
