Veterinary Dermatology, EarlyView.Cytological examination of the ear canal is essential for evaluating dogs with otitis externa (OE). The conventional sampling method uses a swab. However, the cytobrush (gynaecological cervical brush), already used for cytological collection from other anatomical sites, has not been adequately investigated for this purpose in dogs with OE.

Zhongshan Daxue xuebao. Yixue kexue ban, 2000 【目的】观察错配修复基因产物hMSH2 在涎腺良恶性组织中的表达。【方法】应用免疫组化技术检测正常和炎 症涎腺、多形性腺瘤、粘液表皮样癌、腺样囊性癌和腺癌组织的hMSH2 表达。【结果】hMSH2 在正常和炎症涎腺组织导管上 皮细胞的胞核、胞浆阳性表达, 在腺样囊性癌和腺癌肿瘤细胞的胞核呈强阳性表达, 但在多型性腺瘤、粘液表皮样癌组织不表 达。【结论】部分涎腺肿瘤组织出现错配修复基因产物hMSH2 的表达异常。
