Mesopredators in forest edges 森林边缘地带的中级捕食者

open access: yesWildlife Letters, Volume 1, Issue 3, Page 107-118, September 2023., 2023
A key Asian mesopredator (leopards cats) is positively associated with forest edges and oil palm plantations. Abstract Fragments and edges account for most remaining forest habitats globally. Apex predators and megaherbivores often decline in these degraded habitats while smaller generalist omnivores can persist or thrive in forest edges, especially if

Tree species richness differentially affects the chemical composition of leaves, roots and root exudates in four subtropical tree species

open access: yesJournal of Ecology, Volume 110, Issue 1, Page 97-116, January 2022., 2022
In the BEF‐China experiment, metabolomics samples were collected from four different species and three organs (a). The metabolomes are species and organ specific (b), and the metabolome specificity is attributed to different chemical classes (c). Tree species diversity affects the metabolome composition (d), but more controlled interaction experiments ...

Value of cervical electrical impedance spectroscopy to predict spontaneous preterm delivery in asymptomatic women: the ECCLIPPx prospective cohort study

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 58, Issue 2, Page 293-302, August 2021., 2021
ABSTRACT Objectives Preterm birth (PTB) accounts for two‐thirds of deaths of structurally normal babies and is associated with substantial lifetime healthcare costs. Prevention of PTB remains limited by the modest accuracy of prediction methods, namely transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) cervical length (CL) measurement and quantitative cervicovaginal fetal ...

Using vertebrate environmental DNA from seawater in biomonitoring of marine habitats

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 34, Issue 3, Page 697-710, June 2020., 2020
Abstract Conservation and management of marine biodiversity depends on biomonitoring of marine habitats, but current approaches are resource‐intensive and require different approaches for different organisms. Environmental DNA (eDNA) extracted from water samples is an efficient and versatile approach to detecting aquatic animals.

Posttraumatic Growth After MDMA‐Assisted Psychotherapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

open access: yesJournal of Traumatic Stress, Volume 33, Issue 2, Page 161-170, April 2020., 2020
Abstract 3,4‐Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)–assisted psychotherapy for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been shown to significantly reduce clinical symptomatology, but posttraumatic growth (PTG), which consists of positive changes in self‐perception, interpersonal relationships, or philosophy of life, has not been studied with this ...

International clinical practice recommendations on the definition, diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and psychosocial aspects of developmental coordination disorder – Chinese (Mandarin) translation

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, Volume 61, Issue 3, Page E1-E35, March 2019., 2019

ABCA12 Frameshift Deletion in Domestic Cats With Ichthyosis Fetalis

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ichthyosis fetalis (IF), also known as harlequin ichthyosis, is a rare and often fatal autosomal recessive congenital skin disorder. It is characterized by thickened, hard skin plaques and deep skin fissures that limit mobility and cause malformations of the eyes, lips and ears.

Individual asymmetric competition responses across multidimensional niches may enable coexistence of closely related species

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 39, Issue 8, Page 1957-1971, August 2025.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Many studies have focussed on niche differentiation at the population level to explain the coexistence of similar species. However, information on how individual‐level processes across multidimensional niches shape community dynamics and species coexistence, especially ...

换流器换相脉冲相位分布的仿真及实测分析

open access: yesGaoya dianqi, 2022

Information apocalypse or overblown fears—what AI mis‐ and disinformation is all about? Shifting away from technology toward human reactions

open access: yesPolitics &Policy, Volume 52, Issue 4, Page 874-891, August 2024.
Abstract The rise of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has ignited a debate about its effects on the mis‐ and disinformation landscape. The doomsday scenarios of epistemic and information apocalypse presented for many years are recently being questioned, and the previous fears are called “overblown.” These phenomena are analyzed mostly through ...
