中华鬣羚是CITES附录I物种,已被IUCN列为近危种,是国家Ⅱ级保护野生动物。国内鲜有鬣羚种群数量的报道。2011年10月,采用样线调查法对白马雪山鬣羚的数量进行调查,共在白马雪山叶日片区布设9条样线总计48.3 km。研究表明,叶日片区为鬣羚的理想栖息地,区内鬣羚种群的平均种群密度为2.58±1.25头/km2,整个叶日片区约有鬣羚140头,80%的置信区间为72~208头。本研究还发现,鬣羚在叶日片区内具有来自狼等肉食动物的捕食风险。在生境选择上,鬣羚偏好利用高山栎林带,样线调查中鬣羚的主要粪堆 ...
