Constructing Integrative Catalytic Pairs in Carbon Nanohorns for Enhanced Neutral H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Electrosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) via the two‐electron oxygen reduction reaction (2e−ORR) offers a sustainable and decentralized alternative to the anthraquinone process. However, conventional solo‐active‐site catalysts are intrinsically limited by scaling relationships, imposing a trade‐off between activity and selectivity.

Synergistic Chemodynamic–Photothermal Antibacterial Activity of a Nanozyme Derived From Processed Pyritum

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Pyritum can eliminate blood stasis and promote the healing of muscles and bones, which has been used as a traditional mineral medicine in China for thousands of years. However, the mechanisms of action and processing methods of Pyritum were not illustrated.

A Locally Retentive HfO2–STING Nano‐Radiosensitizer Hydrogel for Enhanced Radioimmunotherapy in Esophageal Cancer

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains associated with frequent local recurrence and distant metastasis despite advances in radiochemotherapy and immunotherapy, highlighting the need for therapeutic strategies that improve both local tumor control and systemic antitumor immune responses.

The Evolution of Metal Halide Perovskite Transistors

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) offer a revolutionary pathway for next‐generation field‐effect transistors (FETs) because of their exceptional carrier mobilities and cost‐effective processability. However, their transition to practical electronics is significantly challenged by intrinsic instability and imbalanced charge transport. This review
